What is the CLA Toronto Student Chapter?
A Student Chapter is a group of library and information students that are interested in getting involved and networking with the library and information community before graduation. Chapters consist of a convenor, chosen from among the students, that acts as a liaison between the Chapter and the Canadian Library Association in Ottawa.
The Student Chapter plans events, lectures, meetings and social events to encourage networking. Many events have guest speakers many of whom are prominent leaders in the library community.
